Fertility

Our unique approach encompasses both men and women, recognizing that optimal fertility involves the wellbeing of both partners.

We believe in building a bespoke toolkit for your fertility success, combining acupuncture with gut health expertise and if needed hormonal blood tests and health checks.

We work with women who are preparing to conceive, have conditions that impact
fertility such as endometriosis and for couples who are undertaking IVF to help maximise their fertility success.

Fertility Services

Preparing for pregnancy

Acupuncture plays a pivotal role in enhancing fertility by promoting blood flow to reproductive organs, regulating hormonal balance, and reducing stress. To achieve the best results, we recommend beginning acupuncture sessions 2-3
months before conception or the commencement of IVF, providing a foundation for reproductive wellness.

IVF

Having personal experience of IVF myself I work alongside you during your IVF journey helping explain the journey and supporting you along the way. Our appointments are flexible to ensure we see you at key time of the IVF cycle such as egg collection and embryo transfer and we limit the number of IVF patients we take at any one time to ensure we can give you all the time and support you need.

Gut health and fertility

Our holistic perspective extends beyond the acupuncture needle, as we understand the critical link between gut health and fertility. We are passionate about optimising gut health and the role in plays in supporting fertility. During
your initial consultation we will explain this to you in more detail.

Imbalances in our gut health are found in key conditions that impact our fertility such as PCOS and endometriosis. A healthy gut microbiome is linked to increased testosterone in men, improved egg quality in women. A healthy gut microbiome plays a key role in limiting oxidative stress and inflammation which is linked to unexplained fertility and recurrent miscarriage.

A healthy gut is a great place to start to improve your reproductive health.

Blood tests

If needed we offer a deeper understanding of your fertility profile, through our comprehensive blood tests. This insight helps us to tailor our approach, ensuring a more personalised and effective treatment plan.

Pregnancy

Acupuncture continues to be a supportive ally for you during pregnancy, reducing stress and promoting overall well-being. Research suggests its potential role in reducing the risk of miscarriage and supporting a healthy pregnancy. Our patients of ten report how it helps them to relax and enjoy their pregnancy.  We can also help ease any lower back pain or morning sickness you may experience during your pregnancy.

Labour

As you prepare the arrival of your baby, acupuncture can play a beneficial role in promoting relaxation, reducing anxiety, and even aiding in pain management
during childbirth.

"Our holistic approach ensures that you receive the care and support needed at every stage of your fertility and pregnancy journey."
